PFIFFNER Deutschland GmbH was founded in 2010 and is located in Itzehoe, a medium-sized city in the northern part of Germany.

Since our start, several key milestones have been achieved: A running greenfield manufacturing site has already executed many customer orders and the first combined instrument transformer 420 kV for AIS substations. Our product portfolio comprises instrument transformers within the voltage range from 123 kV up to 550 kV.

Innovative Instrument Transformers

Our team is driving forward production technologies and developing new instrument transformers with alternative insulation gases. Instrument Transformers with ecosAIR take us into the future and comply with the F-Gas Regulation EU F-GAS Regulation 2024/573.

We tackle ambitious development projects together with our customers. With one of the most modern accredited test laboratories and a certified QA system, we ensure absolutely reliable quality and competence.

PFIFFNER Laboratories can carry out power frequency voltage withstands tests up to 800 kV alternating and direct voltage, including partial discharge measurement. Lightning impulse voltage withstands tests are possible up to 2200 kV.
