This range of products covers standardized resin casted current and voltage transformers in block design up to 72 kV as well as cable current transformers. All products meet the specifications for various indoor and outdoor applications in power stations and power distribution systems.
Instrument transformers for low voltage applications are produced according national and international standards. The current and voltage transformers can be calibrated for different countries and delivered with the corresponding certificate.

After more than 33 years in the Group, Fritz Hunziker will step down from January 1, 2019 on and reduces his activities to the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Fritz Hunziker had a decisive influence on the company. In these three decades under his management PFIFFNER has grown into a medium-sized, internationally positioned group of companies.
His successor and new Managing Director of the PFIFFNER Group will be Dr. Jürgen Bernauer from January 1, 2019. After studying electrical engineering, Mr. Bernauer held various management positions in the T&D sector. Among other positions, he was also in charge of GIS systems for a leading manufacturer. In the last six years he managed a high- technology company in the field of semiconductor manufacturing for power engineering.
We are very pleased that Mr. Jürgen Bernauer, a proven expert and connoisseur of our industry, will join the PFIFFNER Group.
At the same time, the management of the company headquarter in Hirschthal is reassigned. Mr Joachim Tschira takes over the management of PFIFFNER Messwandler AG on January 1, 2019.
Mr Tschira also comes from the energy sector. After studying electrical engineering, he held leading positions in major technology groups. For the last seven years he has managed an internationally leading company in the field of low and medium voltage. We are looking forward to the successful cooperation with Joachim Tschira in this new function.
He will replace Peter Schliek in this position. We would like to thank him and we are pleased, that he will continue to be with us to PFIFFNER in a new function until his retirement.
Dr. Claudia Weller was appointed as the new Managing Director of PFIFFNER Deutschland GmbH on December 01, 2018. With Dr. Weller, we were able to gain an assertive entrepreneur personality with sound technical and business management expertise. We are delighted to welcome her to the management team of the PFIFFNER Group.
Claudia Weller succeeds Raimund Streland, who will retire on December 31, 2018. Mr Streland was one of the co-founders of the Itzehoe site. We would like to thank him warmly for his great commitment.
