Insulating Oil Testing
Through oil testing, transformers life can be substantially increased, thus delaying new investment of replacement transformer assets.
In the own oil test filed PFIFFNER can offer a variety of different analysis on mineral oil such as:
- Dissolved gas analysis (DGA)
- Measurement of Dielectric dissipation factor (tan δ), d.c. resistivity, relative permittivity
- Water content
- Determination of Breakdown Voltage up to 100 kVAC
The oil analysis following the international standards (for example IEC 60156).
For the oil extraction on-site PFIFFNER can provide you a tool-case for oil extraction. With them oil samples can be taken easily. Afterwards the oil samples can be sent to PFIFFNER. Within a couples of days you will receives the test results and report.
