The business unit Traction started in 1999, taking over Dätwyler's Traction business. During that time, we started with a few projects in Europe, with a small market share. Today our products are used worldwide, with our customers being the leading train builders in the world. 

We decided to change the name of our business unit Traction. The reason behind it is to communicate better with the market and to ensure that customers associate its name with what we have to offer. As of today, our business unit Traction will be called ROLLING STOCK.
