The first Swiss T&D Days 2023 met all expectations - with sold-out events, exclusive presentations, and networking. The interest was great, the more than two dozen experts convinced with their expertise, the lectured contents were highly informative, and the social program (excursions and entertainment) was very diversified.

The Swiss T&D Days brought together engineers responsible for transmission and distribution networks and market players in power generation. Presentations and discussions were held on the sustainable security of energy and power supply, not only in geopolitical upheaval but also in resource scarcity and the energy transition.

Premiere on October 17 and 18, 2023

Energy networks are infrastructures designed for the long term. Decisions made today for tomorrow's energy network have significant implications. The event is intended to create awareness of the impact. Last but not least, the discussion of the contributions within the expert audience was therefore also central.

The Swiss T&D Days took place for the first time on October 17 and 18 in Brugg-Windisch and Aarau this year. More than two dozen experts from the energy industry, as well as from science and research, presented new solutions for the (re)organization of the power grid for electricity use and the modernization and maintenance of plants and their components. The event is aimed at a broad expert or specialist audience. We were pleased to welcome more than 300 specialists and decision-makers from 42 nations during the two days.

Networking among participants from all over the world

Special attention was given to the personal and professional exchange among the participants within the professional audience. Even away from the official event, everyone had ample opportunities to cultivate contacts and build or refresh acquaintances or partnerships. The one or other surprise on the 'show stage' and culinary could not be missing.

With their constructive participation, all participants and stakeholders made the success of the first Swiss T&D Days possible. The initial feedback encourages us to continue offering and organizing this important industry event in the future. This will probably be the case in 2025 or 2027 - when we will again say: Welcome to the Swiss T&D Days!
