HFCT
HAEFELY’s HFCT (High Frequency Current Transformer) is an inductive split-core sensor providing the possibility of PD measurement and indication in the wide frequency range.
It commonly used at the ground connections but it can also be used as a reference or indication at the bottom (low voltage) of the coupling capacitor or test object itself.
This HFCT provides high sensitivity already at very low frequencies providing a good match with IEC 60270 comparative measurements. Thanks to its very wide bandwidth it also provides overall high sensitivity. In case of noise presence at low frequencies, together with DDX 9160 or 9161 and its high-performance digital filters allowing you to choose any frequency combination from 30 kHz to 20 MHz, it provides a market-leading tool for PD measurement.
